www.vheadline.com/main.asp            I am a U.S. citizen that has a home  in a place that is sought after as a plesent vacation spot by people from the world community.  As such I am in a position to get a good idea of what other country's think of the United States. It makes me sad when I hear from so  many the same thing over and over.  They all want to know why it is that the people of the U.S. are so miss informed about what is going on in the rest of the world.  So I offer this web page in an effort to create a balance of information to intersted persons.            

I don't think I like writing about myself.  Somehow to me it seames like braging and I dont't like that.  I like to think of myself as a simple sort of person that is always ready to say some thing to bring a smile to someones face.  I have never been able to spell very well so please give me a little slack in that regard. I cant say why I wanted to wright all of this except that I hope it lets you know what sort of person at least what I think I am. I hope I am at least some of what I am trying to say about my self.  You will have to be the judge.  Judge me kindly if you will for my intentions are to just be a friend to to any one willing to be a friend. 

 

   I have lived in some very hard times at times homeless, depressed so badly I tried to take my own life several times.  Through all this I have learned that life is what you make of it and it takes work and sometimes failure.  But there is always another chance to get it right if you want it badly enough.  Rule #1 is never except anything negitive as part of what you are.  Rule #2 Always give only positive vibes to thouse you meet. 

 

    When I decided to start this Blog I tried to ID it by using the name Pine Wolf.  That name was already taken so I then chose the current name.  I am glad I changed because the name Pine Wolf dose not say what I wanted it to say.  I could have used the name M'teckwe M'weowa but I feared that most people would understand it as some kind of different langwage other then english, then never stop to say hello.  So I decided to use the name The Desert Water Hole.  This name draws the picture in ones mind of a place where one can refresh them self and that is what I hope happens when folks visit my Blog or type a few words to me at aracoma_child@hotmail.com

 

    I should take the time now to explain the name M'teckwe M'weowa.  This name is the name given me by my Great Grand Mother while visitng her.  Literaly translated from the Shawnee langwage it means

 A Wolf in the Woods. My Great Grand Mother was a full bloded Shawnee Indian of the Aracoma Clan.  To the old Shawnee, a persons name draws a picture of the person that holds that name.  The more you know about a person the deaper the meaaning that persons name becomes in your mind.  If a Shawnee should call me by the name Pine Wolf it would indacate that that person knows very little about me.  When two Shawnee Indians meat and begen to speek they pause just a moment before speeking what they want to say in order to respectfull reflect apon the others Identity.  The full meaning of the name M'teckwe M'weowa draws the picture in ones mind of A Wolf Cub Playing In a Pine Forest.  This is the name given me by my Great Grand Mother.  I might mention one more thing the correct way to  prononounce  the word Shawnee is not  shaw-knee.Corectly pronounced it sounds like Sha-waa-nah with the accent on the last syllable a bit louderand slightly longer. 

 

     All of this of corse is not much interest to most people but some find it intersting so I include it here.  I don't think of myself as being any thing special because I am desended from Shawnee Indians.  I actualy feel that because I had nothng to do with my own birth, then I have nothing to brag about. The Shawnee call things like this bazon whitch means it is the work of the creater.  I belive a man is a fool if he trys to take credit for the work of the Creater  If you have taken the time to read about all this.  I thank you.
